Embroidery hoops
Just a question...
Can anyone tell me the type of embroidery hoop used by Jan Beaney & Jean Littlejohn in their DVD 'In Action'?
I know what you mean! I have been trying to locate the hoops and the watercolor paints they use. Your pages for the Friday Night Fix are wonderful. I hope you are having as much fun as I am. Cheers.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you Jeannie. Hoops, I still have no clue! But as far as the watercolour paints go, J & J (hote they don't mind the abbreviation!)tend to use Koh-i-noor (available Art Van Go in UK, also I think Dale has them at Thread Studio in OZ) and Brusho paints, which I also got at Art van Go. Again, I think that Dale also stocks them. I am off to check your blog now! Cheers:)
I'VE FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a Lowery Workstand, made over here in UK, and it doesn't include frames, you use your own. As here http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran597-0.html but there are accessories and side or corner clamps.
No, but I think they have had them years. They do look very functional though and I wish I knew too.
ReplyDeleteIt is frustrating that you see them work with something that looks really good, but try searching the net for 'embroidery hoops'????
